Early in February this year, having made the decision to sell my property in Malvern, I contacted Hocking Stuart. Grant Wallace and Zoe Harper took charge, and listed tasks required to make the property attractive and saleable. These were then competently carried out by tradesmen whose work was of a high standard, whose rates were reasonable and who were able, when required, to communicate clearly. Both Grant and Zoe kept in touch during the whole process with advice, and with willingness to give time. As I live interstate, their high standard of communication was greatly appreciated. Legal matters (with which I was previously entirely unfamiliar) were explained and dealt with competently and ,throughout the campaign, I was regularly kept up to date with documents such as 'Campaign report, Schedule of Inspections, Pre-Auction Report' to name a few. Advertising was wide and, some weeks before the auction, the property appeared live online. On the day of the Auction a crowd of around fifty people gathered. Grant, with his clear energising voice, kept the prospective buyers rapidly competing with each other until the final result far exceeded expectations. Neighbours, who had watched similar houses in the street sell for a lesser amount some months previously, were high in their praise. Thank you Grant Wallace and Zoe Harper.
