We engaged Nick and Hocking Stuart South Yarra to sell our apartment. Despite a slow start into the campaign, we got the result due to Nick's negotiation skills with buyer advocates. Being first time seller though, we were not informed of when money changes hands and when we would receive deposit. Overall we had a good experience which could have be better if we were informed better.

I engaged Nick Gatacre and the Hocking Stuart team to sell my townhouse in Richmond. The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. A lot could have gone wrong however the team managed my expectations extremely well. I was lucky that there were two interested parties on the day of the auction and the house sold for $35,000 over my reserve. The reserve was set inline with the latest valuation so there were no surprises. This property was sold 25% above the reserve price. Originally it was dilapidated and in need of repair. Mark and his assistant Alex organised everything including waste removal, painting, cleaning and hire furniture which complimented the presentation. We were referred to a solicitor and apart from signing documents we are not troubled even to the extent of collecting the deposit and sales proceeds.We were kept informed at every stage and provided with statistics regarding open houses and potential buyers. Communication was outstanding. The sales campaign and subsequent auction went exactly as predicted by Mark. A team of Hockingstuart staff was on hand at the auction and their input was professional and excellent. We were happy to accept his advice which was always good. Overall we were delighted with the whole experience and cannot recommend the agents at Hockingstuart more highly.It is good that there are agents out there who take the worry out of selling a home and Mark Konishi did just that.
