We interviewed several real estate agents from different companies before choosing Lily. She was able to answer our questions professionally and had relevant examples at her fingertips - but she also listened sensitively to our concerns about selling our mother's house. She explained not only the processes involved in making a successful sale (and she had strategies to ensure this) but she was also highly attuned to fluctuations in the housing market (Sept/Oct 2018) and was able to offer good guidance to ensure a great sale. She runs a team of professionals so that the property is best presented for the market (the house painters, the stylists, the drone shots, the interior and exterior photography were all tops! The only one I thought wasn't excellent was the gardener... the gardens looked great initially, but the follow-up mow and tidy seemed not to have happened). Nonetheless, Lily monitored the falling house prices carefully and advised us accordingly - and through dropping the price wisely, she successfully sold the house privately before the auction date was reached. The price was within our 'acceptable margin' so we were very pleased. After the sale, Lily kept in close touch with us, letting us know exactly what stage the sale was at - it was very exciting to receive the SMS confirming settlement! I'm very happy to endorse Lily's hard work and all her efforts to successfully sell our mother's house in a weakening market! Finally, the questionnaire asks "How did the final sale price of the property match your expectations?" There isn't a category for what Lily achieved for us! Given that the bottom was falling out of the housing market, despite the fact that she had to drop our price (in consultation with us) still meant that she did sell the house - which is a better result, in fact, than I'd hoped for! I was afraid we'd be left with an empty house in a failing market - Lily sold it within her initial date range - and well within our anticipated price range.
