We approached Susan about a year prior to the actual time we put out house on the market. We approached Susan as she was known as a Claremont specialist and knew our area well. Susan was very generous with her time and advice even though it was not a guaranteed listed at the time. She advised us well on what was required to bring the house to market and the timing of bringing it to market. Closer to the suggested market time, she was informative of the current market conditions and realistic in her advice. She told us what we needed to hear rather than artificially talking up the property for a listing. Thus we felt informed and had realistic expectations going into the marketing campaign. We also found her fees reasonable. Susan and Sharon (her colleague) engaged positively in the pre-marketing period whilst we were getting the property for sale. Susan and Sharon successfully organized the staging and marketing plans. The sales period went well with a brief (about 2 weeks) but intense period of attracting a large amount of interest and then identifying the qualified serious buyers and final contenders. Susan brought the sales period to a head with a fair open negotiation with the final contenders. We were very happy with the result and glad that the new owners are also happy with their purchase. Susan and Sharon dealt with the 'post accepted offer/pre settlement period well in a fair/open manner. Susan has then been available 'post settlement' to deal with final minor items of negotiation.
