We knew Paul a bit personally before we ever got to a professional relationship. we have bought and sold property before, but not for many years so I was pretty much starting from scratch. Paul guided us through the process, was available as needed and always finished with "is there anything else I can do for you". He helped with getting a skip and provisioning labour to load it, finding cleaners, gardeners and handymen to get things ship shape, and we never felt either pressed or abandoned at any point. Paul was realistic in his assessment of our property with reasons and explained what sort of price to expect and why. Despite the soft market he managed to under promise and over deliver, and that in a very efficient time frame, Realistically I cannot see how the outcome of our sale could have been better.

Melinda has been a local agent in Burra for as long as I can remember. I have used her to buy and sell several rural properties in the area. She knows all potential buyers need to know when viewing rural residential properties and this makes the sale smooth and easy. Melinda knows her stuff and is not just in it for a quick sale, she will match people with the right properties to make sure the sales goes through. We purchased our home through Melinda several years back and had a very pleasant experience, so we recently engaged Melinda to help us when it came time to sell. From both a buyer's and seller's perspective, I found Melinda to be very warm and engaging but more importantly honest. I appreciated her experience, frank advice and guidance during purchase and likewise when preparing the property for market and throughout the sale process. Prior to market, Melinda provided good advice on what to touch up and what to leave alone. During marketing, she provided frequent updates on how marketing was progressing and things I need to keep on top of. During the sale process, which also depended on the buyer's successful sale of their property, she kept all parties on track and informed. At the price point, and being semi-rural, our house appealed to a smaller subset of buyers, but it sold relatively quickly in what I believe was a slow market. So great result. Selling can be a stressful experience so I really appreciated the extra time Melinda would take to talk me through things and keep me informed. I would highly recommend her services.
