I met John over 2 years ago selling a neighbor's property. I was impressed by thoughtful interactions and his knowledge of the market. I engaged him to sell my home a few months later and his advice and support was invaluable, but due to a change of circumstances, I elected to rent the property for a year. John took this incredibly well, given the time that had been invested in advising and supporting me at that point. A year went by, and my tenants advised they were leaving at short notice, which meant there was a tight timeframe within which to decide to find more tenants or prepare a short marketing campaign and sell right before Christmas. John re-engaged the same support team and they were ready to fly into action preparing the property at short notice. Unbelievably, we got the property from a post-tenancy trash pile to fully painted, repaired, carpeted, styled and ready for market, in two weeks. This occurred in the lead up to Christmas when everyone is exhausted, but John did not skip a beat, marshalling his team and guiding me with calmness and respect. During the campaign itself, John's communication perfectly balanced keeping me fully informed, while staying realistic and managing my expectations by reasoning with evidence-based opinion. This reasoning style takes hard work and dedication and gave me confidence and the ability to relax and make decisions in what is quite a stressful process. I ended up with a great result, with the property selling before auction in a process that was calmly and professionally managed at every step. I thoroughly recommend John Galea to anyone considering selling, or buying.
