L J Hooker Southport did a satisfactory job of advertising the unit for rent, vetting renters and arranging the rental contract. Email communication with the owners was sometimes slow but we received all necessary information.

With the help of Perry & Cheyenne, I was able to get a nice unit in Southport Central. And moved in about 10 days. They are very professional and knowledgeable. However, don't know why they are not so quick in responding to the needed repair items. After moved into the unit, I have informed them about some broken items such as the blinds, dishwasher and oven. It is now more than 6 weeks. They have sent 3 - 4 traddies for the quotes, but only the blinds are in the process of getting repaired. The dishwasher and oven still broken and have no set date on when they will be fixed.

From a landlord’s perspective, we need to be confident that things are happening in a timely manner. However, we are finding ourselves needing to continually prompt LJ to follow through on what has been agreed to. We were hoping that by employing an agent to manage the rental property we could leave things in their hands, but we seem to spend a significant amount of time chasing things up that have not been actioned.
