Kate was the seller’s agent when we purchased our townhouse and we found Kate to be excellent to deal with. Through no fault of Kate’s the purchase proved to be a difficult and drawn out process. Despite the difficulties Kate was highly professional at all times and kept us fully informed all through the entire process. We would be happy to purchase another property through Kate should the opportunity arise.

I would highly recommend Kate Yates to anyone looking to sell their property. She is highly respectful to both the buyer and seller, and genuine and trustworthy, as well as being able to maximize market returns. Kate goes over and above what is expected from an agent. I will definitely be going straight to her next time I need to place a house on the market.

Kate was recommended to me by a close friend and from the moment I met her, I knew Kate was the right fit for me and for my family. She is a positive, happy person and nothing was too much trouble. Kate made me feel like my property was the most important one on her books when she clearly had many others. She is honest and upfront about everything and gave me excellent suggestions as to what was best for the sale of my property. Thanks to Kate, I was able to accept an offer two weeks after my first open house. Kate is a pleasure to work with and I recommend her to anyone wanting to sell their house.

Kate was excellent in all respects wrt the recent sale of my unit. She is very knowledgeable regarding the Canberra property market and very experienced in her field. Kate was very responsive ( in every instance - even during weekends and after hours) and answered all my emails, texts and calls immediately ( or as soon as possible). She was tireless in her efforts on my behalf, honest ( which inspired confidence) and creative in her marketing approach. I would recommend her highly.

Kate was proactive in all levels on communications with us. Not being locally based, we found her level of assistance in marketing, referrals to legals and general sales process to be invaluable. All this resulted in a commitment to purchase during the first public inspection, and through Kate, we negotiated a great result for both the purchaser and ourselves. We would highly recommend Kate.

Kate was the agent for a 3-bedroom apartment that we ended up purchasing in the inner south of Canberra. We found her helpful, clear, responsive and honest from the beginning, during negotiations, and all the way through the exchange of contracts. She made the extra effort to show us the apartment a second time during a weekday morning, so we could check out details we had missed during the initial inspection. She communicated quickly with the owners to relay our offers and questions, and always got back to within a day, or on the same day, and her communicatons with our mortgage broker and conveyancer also helped the process go smoothly. In the end, we felt like she was genuinely happy to see us ready to move into our new home!

Kate was generous with her time and extremely helpful in ensuring all of our questions as buyers were answered. She anticipates the kinds of issues that might imperil a positive experience for buyers and nothing was too difficult. Kate made us feel her agency valued us as buyers and we will certainly be considering Lutons in Manuka for future purchases and sales.

Kate helped us through all aspects of the sale and kept us informed of progress and gave valuable advice. We think the service was above and beyond what would be expected as a standard role. We would recomend Kate to anyone looking to sell their home.
