A few years ago we realised that in the not too distant future, we would need to downsize. We contacted McGrath and Mark Vinogradov paid us a visit and gave us an appraisal. Since then, Mark has contacted us from time to time to see how we were and if we still had selling in mind. Our answer was always "not yet". The opportunity arose and we finally decided to put our house on the market.We chose Mark to execute the sale, as we felt we already knew him. Unfortunately it was a difficult time to sell on account of falling house prices, and the Banking Royal Commission prevented many would be purchasers from either selling their own property or obtaining finance. As a result , the sale took longer than we would have liked but Mark never stopped trying and informing us on a regular basis of any interested purchasers. His relaxed manner and confidence also gave us the confidence that we would finally sell, and that we did. Maree did a fantastic job helping to sell our home. She provided some great guidance on preparing the home, pricing, and the open home strategy. We were able to sell the home after three inspections which was great. Although we would’ve liked to have received more for the property, we did trade this off against speed of the sale. Maree and the team are also lovely to work with so we’d highly recommend them.
