We experienced an initial ‘cold call’ from Mark Vinogradov one afternoon over 12 months previous and found him extremely presentable and we mentioned that down the track we would be considering moving to a retirement village. We were not hassled at any stage, but Mark did follow up his initial call about 10 months later, and it was at this stage we were more seriously considering moving, with downsizing options of possible villas for us to move to. Mark put our home on the market, after some fantastic photography and house plan were created for advertising. It was also an awkward time for him and us (and the property market) as the Federal election was looming, with the Labor Party favoured to win with a policy not favourable to investors. Added to this, within 4 weeks, we were going on a 5 week holiday overseas and did not allow Mark selling access during this time. Upon returning home Mark was able to commence selling again and he supplied a buyer who arrived with a signed contract and bank cheque deposit. We were both shell shocked when this buyers building inspector the discovered termites, and the sale fell through. One would think that with these difficulties any agent would throw in the towel, but not Mark. After we repaired the termite damage, Mark had another Open Day and over 80 people turned up. Mark had 3 buyers interested and after some good negotiating and encouraging us to hold our ground, we had a successful sale to a lovely family. With the problems that had occurred for us and for Mark, we could not have had a better representative looking after our interests.
