Professional, seamless, rewarding - and even fun!
We tried to sell the unit ourselves in 2019, and while it was a novel experience we also realised how much was involved and how little we knew about it. Plus we were somewhat disappointed with the level of interest we garnered and the figure it seemed we would have to accept. Luckily for us, just as a sale was imminent, covid threw a spanner in the works and brought proceedings to a halt.
Nearly three years later we decided the timing was right, and via the recommendation of a friend we enlisted Joanna. What a relief it was to have a professional take on the task, and a surprise to find it wasn’t going to cost us as much as we thought.
Joanna quickly and confidently decided to auction, which was something we hadn’t even considered. Her enthusiasm was contagious right from the start. She prepared a focussed two-week campaign and kept us well informed on feedback throughout the process of opens. As she predicted, the level of interest was high, and by auction day we had no less than eleven registered bidders. We stood gob-smacked in the complex's carpark as the bidding climbed up and over our most hopeful expectations.
Joanna has decades of experience and a genuine love of her job. Her natural affability makes communication easy, while her professional know-how combined with her calm decisiveness makes her the right person to deal with what for many would be a totally stressful process! She took care of everything, and apart from the few essential meetings, we basically sat back and watched the magic happen until the money was in the bank.
