Having visited many properties around the hills; and river area we encountered many “polished turds” with agents trying the pull the wool over our eyes. This of course can leave a bad taste in your mouth and the process of buying a home frustrating. So we decided to find an agent that we can put our trust in, this lead us to Provincial, a business that we had admired from afar, but felt a little priced out of. After visiting many of their home opens, our decision was validated. Although many of the homes we were admitting to not be able to afford, we were still welcome with open arms and words of advice. Having met Ben multiple times, a relationship grew and he knew what we were after in a home. As fate would have it, a beautiful home came up for sale and Ben happened to be the agent, a match made in heaven. From the moment we walked in the front gate, we knew we had found our home. I picked Ben not only because of this, but he was the most responsive and approachable. He was also respectful (my mother just passed and it was our family home) and helpful. He not only provided solid and commercially good recommendations to help best present the property but had excellent referral to trades in the hills when I asked for help. Over this time, he went the extra mile to help out as I was based in Sydney. The end result, we achieved the upper end of the evaluation and the buyers were a perfect fit for the home, with both parties happy.
