This is the first property I have sold in Sydney City, and the team at Raine and Horne Newtown made the process simple, straight forward with an excellent result. Michael and his staff provide five star service at all times, and I felt fully supported right throughout the selling process. Michael's expert knowledge and generosity with his time, as well as his wonderful management staff made the experience manageable and indeed quite pleasurable. I would fully recommend his services to others and will certainly be working with him again in the future. Thank you Michael for all your hard work.

A big thank you to Duncan Gordon and his team for the fantastic result we achieved in the sale of our apartment at 29/54 Johnston Street, Annandale. Duncan’s professionalism, honesty and reliability put me at ease throughout the whole selling process. He was very knowledgeable with regards to the market, what buyers were looking for and the best marketing campaign to use to maximise potential buyers. Throughout the campaign, Duncan was in constant communication and went to great lengths to show my apartment to buyers outside of Saturday’s open for inspections. I truly believe that it was Duncan’s hard work, negotiation skills and years of experience that secured us a sale price above my expectations. I highly recommend Duncan to anyone selling their property and will definately enlist him as my agent the next time I sell. -Cindy

Duncan was engaged to sell our two bedroom townhouse in Dulwich Hill. We interviewed many agents from in and out of the area and we were immediately impressed by Duncan. Duncan was well presented, very knowledgeable, extremely professional, competitive in terms of commissions, provided helpful suggestions on how to improve the property, has a nice personality and good rapport but most of all he was HONEST. Duncan was "personally" actively involved in our campaign from the very beginning by preparing the property for photos, attending inspections, contacting prospective purchasers, providing both verbal and written updates after each inspection and most importantly he is an experienced and tough negotiator. Duncan was also very helpful with arranging his tradespersons on short notice, when our tradespersons didn't show up, to attend to improvements/repairs at our property at discounted rates. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Duncan and his team to you. You can rest assured you have the best person on the job if you use Duncan. Thank you again Duncan. We were delighted with the result!

When looking to choose an agent to sell my parents property as executor to their wills, I wanted to find someone who I could actually trust and who would be honest with the advice and assessments being sought. Michael has all of those qualities in spades, as well as his accurate appraisal of the property, the market situation, the best recommended marketing campaign (without going over the top), and of course, his excellent communication throughout the campaign. I took a recommendation like the one above from a personal contact I had, and I have absolutely no hesitation in continuing such high praise recommendations regarding Michael's ethical, professional and personable attributes.

A little over 7 years ago we bought our home through Michael Harris of Raine and Horne Newtown, and we knew then that we had met a truly exceptional real estate professional. There was never any doubt in our minds that he would be our agent when the sad time came to put the house on the market, and the thought of shopping around never even arose. From the start to the end Michael and his great team at R&H, especially Melissa, looked after us superbly. There were many challenges due to the fact that we were selling from overseas, but nothing was too much trouble for the team to organize everything - and I mean everything! - on our behalf. In a very tight timeframe the house was prepared top to bottom for the campagin. His progress reports were incredibly informative and accurate. The result on the day was astounding, but Im sure a lot to do with the service and support he provided to our eventual buyer and others who were interested. I truly believe Michael to be the absolute best agent in Sydney when it comes to the Inner West region, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional result when selling their home.

"My partner Alice and I were very impressed by the service and commitment from Michael Harris, and the team at Raine & Horne Newtown. We chose Michael specifically, as he is known as one of the most experienced agents in the Inner West. This was our first experience of selling property, and Michael's advice and counsel were invaluable. Michael ensured we had a good understanding of the market in prepartion for listing our property, and that we were clear and confident in knowing what we we wanted from the sale. Michael and the team were always available to answer any questions we had, and this accessibility gave us great confidence, and allowed us to feel informed and in control of the process of listing and sale. At the crucial points when offers started to come in for our property, Michael's advice and counsel were again tremendous. He provided well thought-out advice, based on his prior discussions with us, and his many years of experience in the market. The sale price is higher than that for any comparable property in our building, and exceeded the valuation of both our bank, and an independent valuer. It was substantially in excess of our own expectations. I would, and indeed have, recommended the team at Raine & Horne Newtown to friends considering futre property sales in the Inner West."

From our original meeting Michael was very helpful and presented a clear campaign proposal. Michael and his team were very professional and happy to answer any questions or queries I had. Michael was in constant communication with me about all facets of the campaign with verbal and written reports of the feedback during the weeks leading up to the auction. We were very happy with the outcome of the sale. Thank you.

Michael Harris isn't the leading sales agent in Newtown by luck, he is quite thorough in his approach to gather all of the information from a prospective vendor and then share with you a range of options. He has great insight of the market and kept ourselves informed throughout the entire process. I'm sure there was plenty of hard work behind the screens to ensure we had as many prospective buyers on auction day as possible. We achieved a great result on the day thanks to a dedicated and fantastic agent.

Our property passed in at Auction. We were concerned but the experience of our agent shone through as 3 days later the property sold for +2% over what we would have taken on auction day. A solid result.

I found Michael and his staff to be very helpful and professional. He was conservative about the potential price which I found refreshing. As it happened, we got a lot more for the property than we expected. His advice to properly prepare the property and take it to auction played a big part in this. He communicated throughout so that we knew how the property was being perceived by potential buyers. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
