We engaged Michael to sell our apartment and would definitely recommend him to others. With the help of his assistant Melissa they organised all the quotes and tradesmen for our refurbishments with a quick turnaround before going on the market. Michael provided us with an informative weekly report while on the market and guided us through the auction proceedings as this was our first time.

We used Michael as, earlier in the year, he had sold our daughters' townhouse in Newtown and they were pleased with the service of the whole team at Raine & Horne, Newtown and with the result. As we were based in Canberra, we needed an agent who could fit in with our times and take on some of the logistics that come from selling a property when you aren't nearby. Michael & his team put in this extra effort and everything went smoothly. We felt Michael's strongest point was the regular communication he maintained with us - usually by phone. if he said he'd ring that afternoon, he did - and there was never any need for us to chase him. He explained all the issues carefully and demonstrated not only a knowledge of the market but of human behaviour. His market assessment of price was realistic and, in the end, he negotiated a better price. We were very pleased. Congratulations, Michael & team.

We entrusted Michael Harris and his team to sell our investment property in Newtown. It was a bit run down so we gave them relatively free reign to do it up to provide the best possible presentation. That said, Michael's team and their tradies, (including painters, handymen, cleaners and stylists) were frugal with their costs so for about a $20k spend it easily added $100k to the asking price. Although failing to sell at auction, Michael persisted with new buyers using his excellent negotiating skills to reach our asking price, which was $100k above the reserve we would have otherwise accepted at Auction. We were always kept well informed of developments, the whole process being quite painless once you make that initial, daunting decision to go ahead. An excellent result, thanks!

When we bought our Newtown home in 2010, Duncan was the selling agent. As buyers, Duncan was proactive in bringing us in and getting us to the auction. He kept in touch and provided accurate answers to our many questions. Of course, on auction day, as agent for the vendors, he extracted every dollar he could from us. I forgive him for that (just!). By 2015, our family had outgrown our home and it was time for us to sell. We knew immediately that Duncan was the agent that we wanted to work with. He came to meet with us to plan a sale campaign together. At all times, he provided a great service with excellent communication. We were kept informed of customer sentiment during the open house inspections, and expectations for the sale price were refined accordingly. In the end, Duncan was sold our home prior to going to auction, for a price that represented the very top of our expectations. It was a great sale result and left us in a strong position for our subsequent new family home purchase. After paying a high purchase price through Duncan in 2010, we were very pleased that he was able to provide a counterbalance with a high sale price six years later! Of course, we have no hesitation in recommending Duncan to any of our friends wanting to sell a property.

Throughout the process of selling our house we found Michael Harris and his Executive Assistant Melissa Grose very helpful, efficient and made the whole process straightforward. I would highly recommend them.

I have met Michael many times over the years at local house viewings and was always impressed by his courtesy, honesty and delicate sales approach, so when it came to selling my own house I went straight to him. I'm very glad I did. Michael and his sales team made the whole process so much easier than I imagined. They helped me prepare the house for sale, negotiated with tradies and procured outstanding results in terms of expense and finished quality. I was delighted with the final price attained for my property and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Michael and his assistants. Melissa Grose, in particular, was marvellous to deal with and steered the whole process under Michael's directions. A very happy client.

Thank you so much Duncan you were fantastic throughout the whole process. Duncan guided us through from start to finish, kept us up to date with everything and ended up negotiating a sale well in excess of what we were expecting. If you are selling your house in this area you have to speak to Duncan - he took great care of us and legitimately cared about getting us the best price possible. Thank you again

Michael and his team were extremely competent, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We were advised of the outcome and prospects very promptly from each open house. Michael was quietly confident and clearly knew his stuff. He always worked to achieve at least our reserve which we stated before even signing up for the campaign. The coordination of work necessary to prepare the unit for sale was extraordinarily efficient. The trades people used were competent and did their respective tasks in a very timely manner. The result was outstanding at $100,000 above our expectation. Would definitely use the team again if selling another property.

We were extremely happy with Michael and his team throughout the process of selling our house. He made what could have been a very stressful situation relatively straightforward, and - most importantly - achieved the result we wanted. He communicated openly and frankly at all times, which meant we felt well informed and assured for the duration of the campaign. We also appreciated his gentle and confident manner in dealing with prospective buyers. We'd certainly recommend Michael to anyone selling in the Inner West.

We have had the pleasure of both selling and buying our home with Michael and his team. Through both the selling and buying process Michael has kept us informed, provided credible and honest guidance on property sale expectations and purchase price guides and aided by Michael's professional and friendly team both the selling and buying processes were made easy. This is the second time we have used Michael Harris to sell a property for us and it further cemented our already high opinion of him, both as a real estate agent and a person. Michael communicates thoroughly at every point throughout the experience from valuation - sale completion. You never feel like there is a silly question to ask and he speaks with integrity and honesty. This property was selling in a strange market and Michael had a plan no matter what way it went. He ensured we felt totally comfortable with the process and we sold an hour after the auction, after it got passed in, for exactly what we wanted - which could have been difficult. We would highly recommend Michael to any prospective seller and would use him again in heart beat.
