From the very beginning, Patrick's approach to selling real estate was remarkable. With an unexpected fall creating life changing consequences, we needed to sell our mother's home swiftly for her in order to move to retirement living. So, I took to Google and researched which agent had sold the most in volume and dollars in her suburb. Patrick was the top of the leaderboard. I sent the briefest of inquiry messages, and to my surprise, he called that same day and arranged to meet with me the next day at Mum's home. Patrick came prepared with the research to substantiate a valuation. As he walked the property it was clear he was an expert in the suburb and this style of home. His commission was fair and included the marketing expenses - with no upfront costs. Patrick had a clear plan: our market was first home buyers or people just like my Mum, older buyers looking to downsize. This helped us make decisions about styling the property for sale, and the building and pest inspection he provided gave us peace of mind that we had the property in the best shape for sale. From our first meeting with Patrick on 20 February to discuss a valuation, Mum's property was photographed on 4 March and went on the market on 5 March (allowing us time to pack up Mum's belongings and dress the house for sale). The first open house was on 9 March, we had a signed contract on 16 March and the sale went unconditional on 25 March. Every step of the way, communication with Patrick was clear, consistent and genuine. He never lost sight of the big picture: we were a family looking for the best financial outcome to support Mum's needs. Patrick diligently set about achieving a sale. The final sale price was so far beyond our expectations or hopes that I asked Patrick to repeat it several times - convinced that he was having a verbal slip. But no - this was real.
