When cynicism is common of the industry, Susan dispels that quickly when you meet her, exuding a rare passion and genuine enthusiasm for her craft. Her honesty, engaging personality and knowledge of the business quickly put one at ease. Susan James was recommended to my family by a trusted friend so that was a good start. Once we met her we were impressed with her local knowledge as well as her straightforward manner. With Susan's guidance we decided on a price for the property. We didn't want an auction, or to use strategies like 'offers above....' or 'make an offer...' We were confident the property had been priced correctly. The house went on the market on a Wednesday. First home open on the next Saturday. Property sold for the asking price at the first home open! Susan guided us through all we needed to do before putting the house on the market and was honest when appraising our property. This period was longish and fraught with challenges and obstacles; Susan remained cool and calm and gave us plenty of sound market advice & helped us achieve a good sale in spite of a declining market. The home sold following the first home open. Although she is a very busy agent Susan always personally answered our calls and was there to respond to any questions we had.
