**A record result and a genuine pleasure to work with** We engaged Ahmad Souweid of Blackshaw Manuka to sell a 1950s block of units in Red Hill — a distinctive property that needed an agent who could find the right buyer rather than simply the nearest one. Ahmad did exactly that, achieving a record price for a block of this kind in Red Hill. What set him apart was his judgement. Ahmad is calm, level-headed and genuinely insightful about the market. He knew precisely who the buyers for this asset were, how to reach them and what would motivate them — and his read on conditions was consistently on the money. He also worked tirelessly. A multi-unit block on a single title, sold subject to tenancy, is not a run-of-the-mill campaign, and Ahmad gave it the energy and attention it deserved from listing right through to exchange. Where he added the most value was during contract negotiations. His advice was practical, well-informed and refreshingly honest — including when it wasn't what we wanted to hear. He kept things moving smoothly through settlement and stayed engaged and responsive right to the finish line, rather than disappearing once the contract was signed. With two vendor entities involved, he managed communication between everyone seamlessly — and he coordinated inspections across multiple tenanted units with real care, working around residents' schedules so the property always presented at its best while keeping the tenants comfortable and well informed throughout.
