I had a friend who sold in 2018 who recommended a few agents from a certain agency to use (that I didn't want to go with), plus someone else called Allister Scott from Bresic Whitney saying "he is nice too". Well, this was clearly an understatement! Allister came to us at quite a tough time, where we really had to sell, rather than wanting to sell. Allister and his colleague Kathleen Synnott were not only incredibly professional, but were also patient, realistic and most importantly kind. Allister was heavily in contact every step of the way, incredibly transparent and essentially just made life easier. Without his help, we would not be in a good place. At this point I would also like to use the terms 'empathetic' & 'community involvement', which are the softer skills that Bresic Whitney bring to the table, something they just do which they don't shout from the rooftops. Despite having to manage the total preparation and sale of a property with a seller by phone, he demonstrated true attention to detail, patience and knowledge. As the property required a high level of maintenance both internally and externally to be ready for viewing, Nick and his team ensured we were kept fully informed of each job - providing quotes, timing, costs and reassurance on the quality of work to be carried out. Throughout the selling campaign, Nick organised the styling of the property and ongoing gardening and cleaning to show the property at its best at all times. We bought our new house and sold our old house with Nicholas. He assisted, far beyond what most agents would have, with both the purchase and sale. After purchasing, there were many hurdles we had to go through with Solicitors and the vendors prior to settlement due to there being a dispute. Although he did not have to, Nicholas involved himself and ensured the settlement occurred with as little issues as possible. Our sale occurred late last year as the market considerably slowed down. Nicholas kept us well informed of the market activities and strategies around attracting buyers. Being active in the property market myself and having seen the considerable cool down in the market I was extremely impressed at their ability to attract buyers! Nicholas is certainly not your average agent that throw an online advertisement up and hopes for the best.
