My sister Jacqualine and I (Rod Deakin) are executors for my mother's estate and Daniel Wright (BUXTON Chelsea) gave us great assistance in selling her unit in Bonbeach. BUXTON were the managing agents of my mother's unit whilst she was in a nursing home and the rental income was funding her care. They were very good with maintenance and property reports and attended promptly to all the tenant's requests. And after my mother died they were able to relocate the tenants prior to the sale of the unit and also assisted the lawyers with a valuation of the unit for the purposes of obtaining probate. The campaign to sell the unit went very smoothly and BUXTON were very good at organizing the details (e.g. dressing the unit for sale; cleaning and repainting; garden maintenance, etc.) and we received excellent feedback about interest in the unit. Daniel identified two prospective buyers who both submitted written offers before the auction date and he was able to negotiate a sale for more than we had expected. We are both very happy and I would have no reservation in recommending Daniel (and his team) to anyone in the district with a property to sell.

My requirements made it difficult for Daniel and his team to sell the property and I appreciate them taking it on when others wouldn't. Daniel was extremely helpful leading up to our campaign, organising tradesmen to quote and repair the property and facilitating access. This was extremely helpful as we do not live nearby and saved hours commuting back and forth. Daniel worked tirelessly throughout our campaign and managed to sell the property before auction with a great result. He kept us constantly updated with potential buyers and made himself available to speak to late at night and on weekends. Daniel is not a pushy estate agent which I think is really important. We contacted him 3 years ago about selling this property and he has been extremely patient and empathetic around our circumstances. He is very knowledgeable of the area and gave us realistic advice on what to expect. His support team at Buxton Chelsea are also extremely efficient behind the scenes.
