Id never sold a property before and Jarrah walked me through the process from start to finish, giving me absolute confidence that everything was being taken care of at a high standard. His guidance on the initial walk through of my property really helped me understand where I could increase the saleability and potential positive feelings from groups at open inspections. From larger items, such as neutralising a feature wall colour, to smaller points, like a small tweak to the location of a dining table or swapping decorations to different places to catch a buyers eye. His knowledge of the local market, and in particular, the values in my estate were spot on and at no time did I feel he was trying to obtain the contract of sale by inflating his value estimate. I had done my homework over a few months and my expected estimation was exactly what he recommended, and in the end, exactly what the market dictated. All of my questions during the sale period were answered swiftly, with complete honesty and no difficult real estate jargon that only agents would understand. He understood who he was working for and adjusted his dialect and manner accordingly. Conversations between Jarrah and myself regarding strategy were very easy going and even sided. He's the expert so he knows the best way to run the sale, but it was nice that suggestions and ideas I made were openly received with enthusiasm and he done his best to incorporate as many of them in the overall strategy where possible and where there would be a benefit (obviously not being a real estate person not all my suggestions were good ones but he always listened to them and discussed them with me). It was very nice to feel a part of Jarrahs sale process, and not just an owner on the side waiting for the sale sticker to go up.
