Basil did an amazing job selling our house on auction day. His brother Pat, was with us from the start of the campaign until the finish but come auction day it was over to Basil to get the result. We can now see why. Selling into a challenging environment, bidding started out significantly lower than our price target. We were quite concerned that we were going to have to sell for significantly less than desired. Basil persisted and was able to get bids from multiple buyers up to within $20k of our price target. The property was passed in and Basil used his negotiating skills to get us up and above our target which was a great result.

Pat did a great job in marketing and selling our place in a challenging sales environment. From our first discussion, Pat was honest and upfront about the price he thought was achievable, unlike other agents who put forward unrealistic prices in order to get us to sell with them. Whilst Pat's initial estimate was slightly lower than what we initially hoped, we had faith that Pat and his team would be able to get us a good result. Throughout the campaign, Pat was in constant communication with us on where we were at (buyer numbers, those with serious interest, price expectations etc.). Come auction day, we were able to achieve the price we set as our target at the beginning of the campaign which is a credit to Pat and his team.

When we were looking at agents to assist us in selling my property, we met with a number who were very well presented, had a lot of accreditation and prestige, but Pat was the one who had all this and was able to speak to us in a way that showed he would be invested in the campaign, and would be taking a very hands on approach. He offered us weekly meetings, reports on activity at the inspections (and his follow ups), and provided a level of confidence to us with his no-stone-unturned, no-lead-unchecked approach. His campaign for us ran very smoothly, and the resulting sale was for a price higher than we expected. We could not endorse Pat any higher, than by stating that there's another property in the family to soon be auctioned, and we already know we want Pat to be the agent on that one, too!
