I’ve worked with Helen Munro Real Estate as a client for something like 20 years. I owned 2 units in Townsville and my son 1 unit. Being an owner over all this time has been a tough time, what with more government restrictions on landlords, tough economic conditions, and above all now in Townsville, youth crime at an all time high. In this climate I made the decision to sell my investments in Townsville. In writing this review, it’s not just Kym, it’s a total team, at HMRE but Kym typifies the whole team work ethic. Leading up to the sale of my two units, I lost 3 different tenants due to 2 other units having tenants that caused a lot of damage to the complex and living conditions were not good. I also lost two sales, directly also attributed to these 2 other unit tenants. Throughout all this Kym kept me in constant updates with such a positive attitude that she would find other buyers once we sorted the building problems out. Once the problems were sorted, Kym again kept her word and found two other buyers. Again, through longer than settlements with delays she kept me fully informed, followed up various documentation that was required to help her buyers, and just had such a positive attitude with these sales. To cap it all off, I called her on a Saturday over a document. She answered her phone promptly and we discussed the issue. Normal you may be thinking - well Kym was on a holiday in Tokyo, Japan on a busy street!! That in itself typifies this lady’s dedication to her client, her determination to ensure I was happy and was kept informed. This lady, as I stated before, typifies the complete team at Helen Munro.
