She organised meetings to discuss schedules and tasks to complete the work. 1st May 2020 My response to the recent dealings with Emily Glover Managing Agent for L J Hooker Belconnen. During the last four to six I have had tenants vacate the unit at 58/112 Baldwin Drive. In that period Emily had suggested that re carpeting would be in order. To that end Emily has been…. • Always ready to assist with advice & suggestions. • As a communicator she has excellent use of language to explain legal issues relating to the duties of the tenants & landlord. This knowledge comes through in her role as my manager agent. • Emily is a great listener. She takes the time to listen to my questions & queries, responding quickly either by telephone text or email. • During this time Emily arranged advertising for re letting & arranged the filming of an excellent video displaying the interior of the unit. • Finally, she is a very affable person, friendly & cheerful. I have dealt with Emily Glover for a few years now. Emily has always been very courteous and constructive in her dealings with me, displaying a good deal of enthusiasm for the various roles a property manager is engaged in, as well as a mastery of the Tenancy Act and recent ACT Government changes to it. Recently my property become vacant; the tenants decided to go back to their home State. Emily promptly reviewed the rent and advised me on the new amount, set out to advertise the property, had one open home and recommended two prospective tenants out of those who saw the home, recommending one family over the other, who I agreed to. Emily then organised for them to promptly sign a new lease, which even included a pet clause as is required nowadays, and they moved into the property three days after the last tenant left. Incurring only two days with no rental income, I can't ask for a more efficient property manager. Emily also did thorough regular inspections of the property and noted any maintenance items that I could have a look at, in some cases avoiding costly repairs if not attended to quickly. I can’t recommend Emily Glover too highly to anyone who is looking for a property manager for their investment property. I also initially chose LJ Hooker for my managing agency as it has a large network of agencies in the ACT and region, all of which are able to engender a tenant for your property. As well, LJ Hooker Belconnen itself is a well managed agency.

Emily Glover has been our managing agent for the last 15 months, after we changed from an agency that was giving us poor service. We are extremely happy we made the change. Emily is timely in her communication with us about any issue relating to our property; she asks us how we would like an issue dealt with and will engage a supplier of our choice if requested to do so; she has a list of well qualified and competent suppliers to call upon; she follows up on issues that may take time to resolve; she maintains contact with suppliers / tradies until a job is completed; she keeps us and our tenant informed of where the process is up to. Emily's property inspections are conducted as per schedule, are thorough, and her reports are detailed. We have recently had our unit tenanted for 12 months during the very difficult corona virus pandemic. We had doubts whether this would be possible. Emily went above and beyond to follow up with prospective tenants, and to devise alternate processes (video hook up) for showing the unit to the eventual new tenant who at the time resided interstate. Emily is a personable, friendly, knowledgeable and competent property manger who gives us great confidence our property is well managed.

LJ Hooker Belconnen has managed our Belconnen property for many years and all of those who have managed the place have done a good to very good job. I have been exceptionally impressed, though, by our current property manager, Chloe Kemp. She is always on the front foot in letting us know of any issues and in keeping us up to date of anything we need to be thinking about or perhaps having done. She has looked after our place as if it were her own in my view, except that she also knows the market issues and so does a better job than we could. Thank you Chloe. It's great to deal with you.
