Her professionalism and friendly nature again shone through, as did her knowledge and confidence in the market, and three weeks later our place was sold at a significantly higher price than we could have hoped for selling privately.

I was really impressed with the job Kate did selling my property. She did a lot more research than other agents I talked to (finding comparable sales etc), which was one of the reasons I chose her and meant I had more confidence in her predicted sale price - and then I got more than expected even though it was a slow market at the time. But what amazed me was how hard she worked to get my property on the market really quickly once I (finally!) made up my mind. She really went "above and beyond" to meet the very ambitious target I'd set. And although we got lucky with a very keen buyer at the first open inspection, she also had to work pretty hard to close the sale because of a few issues that came up. Through it all she did everything with a really friendly, supportive manner that never seemed "fake" and a lot of professionalism. It's a tricky balance to achieve and she hit the nail on the head. She didn't have decades of experience in the industry but it seemed like having a previous career gave her an edge because she was acting like a real person not a real estate agent!

I approached Kate to sell my Downer home of 26 years. I had approached 3 agents active in the inner North, but Kate’s offering was the most thorough and competitive. She was very patient with my naïve questions and queries on the selling process in ACT because I had never sold a home before. She facilitated all connections to support services such as reputable photographer, conveyancing solicitor and pest/building report services. She helped me through the transition from maintaining a home in which I liked to live, to making the changes in presentation that someone else would want to buy. She offered advice on the best marketing angle and styling advice to reach that audience. She has knowledgeable advice on the timing and form of the marketing pitch to maximise the exposure and generate buyer interest. She was always courteous and helpful, she even helped me with last minute presentation tidying for the photographer, with whom she has a strong rapport, knowing what she is looking in getting that ‘wow!’ factor in the photograph. When the time came to open the house for exhibition, she was respectful and generous with her time, I could entrust her with the keys to my home. The feedback reports after each display were thorough and helpful in tweaking the marketing. Again, she facilitated the offer and exchange of contracts with professional courtesy and integrity. The outcome in sale price we achieved exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend her services enough.
