Louise was a pleasure to have looking after our interests, and the result exceeded our expectations.
In terms of market knowledge, Louise's understanding of the current state of the market was remarkably accurate and perceptive, and I was particularly impressed when she had received feedback on an allegedly comparable property to our own expected to sell for a lower price than ours, that she took it upon herself to attend that auction and discovered that the other property was not in fact comparable to ours.
In terms of communication, Louise always ensured we were fully informed of developments, both encouraging and discouraging ones. Many times I noticed that she sent emails to us, late in the evening, when others might have left it to the next day. We were able to have constructive and candid discussions between us on, the quality of our property presentation, the marketing and auction strategy and setting the reserve price. There were no material unpleasant surprises when the budgeted costs were actually incurred.
In terms of credibility, Louise is modest, but, I observed, highly respected by the various counter-parties, including prospective buyers, legal advisers, valuers, auctioneers, and the body corporate.
In terms of negotiation, Louise was skilled in creating expectations that were in our interests, with contractors, decorators, , ourselves as owners, and ultimately with the various buyers.
