Louise Ashdown went above and beyond in helping me with selling my house. She basically became Project Manager, organising tradesmen and quotes to help make my house more presentable, even having some work done while I was on holidays. I did not feel pressured at any time and am very grateful for all her help and advice. Louise is extremely capable and efficient and is a very nice person to boot! I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone wishing to sell their house.

Louise is a fantastic agent. Constantly kept in touch with us to ensure we knew where we were with the property, from the moment we first saw it through to completion. She was very helpful in organising access to the property before we settled so that we could line up workmen, cleaners etc and ensure the house was quickly move in ready. A really nice person to talk to and great at her job - highly recommend Louise.

Unfortunately I'm assuming that Louse would be a good negotiator however I had no reason to negotiate price given auction circumstances. I would only be too pleased to recommend Louise to any interested property purchasers.

Stone Real Estate has its focus correctly on "Family" and the respect of the two parties in all 'process' of sale / buying. I would both recommend and again 'employ' Stone agents if Louse Ashdown would again be the professional involved in my process of selling. I dealt with one of the two 'proprietors', with whom I was also extremely impressed and would ask for his input as well. However, I found the process unsettling for me and also my siblings selling our family home of many years; feelings of dismissive behavior when our decision, as vendors, was interpreted in an ambiguous manner; other professional personnel from the company both ignited, then inflamed the intense experience of 'accepting - verses rejecting' offers, which 'Stone' was totally aware that we, as the vendors, were absolutely uncomfortable to "move forward" on such negotiation. It was then up to me, as I then became the 'family negotiator' to push forward to complete the sale. I query if the new laws of January 2016 had an impact on the misunderstanding from the buyers - of the price range(s); our auction didn't commence; buyers, seemingly ready and present, were complacent (to state the least) - blissfully unaware of our intent / expectation / and wish for a successful, fruitful auction and or follow up 'serious' negotiation. The conclusion: a good ending as the smallish double brick home of almost seventy years, solid as the ground it sits on, build for a returned WW 11 digger, was sold to a - delightful, young family - one that embraces the history of the family home and the area, implied interested in richness of 'symbol' and association of past goodness: loving nuances of the home's matriarch who lived to 100 years & six months. Louise, Maria and the team at Stone proved to be excellent agents in the recent sale of our house. They were open and honest, addressed and resolved the issues our house presented, and gave an accurate appraisal. The Stone marketing plan was forward thinking and well communicated. Within only a couple of weeks our house was prepared for sale. This was no mean feat. As lead agent, Louise took on the role of project manager, coordinating a team of well chosen tradespeople; house washers, painters, builders, gardeners and carpet layers who transformed the house. Throughout the process Louise was highly organized, paying attention to every last detail. She was an effective and clear communicator, involving us in decisions as necessary and taking initiative when required. Louise and Maria had an excellent understanding of how to best market the property and advised us accordingly. They have established relationships with many potential buyers and are clearly well networked and trusted in the local community. After only two openings our house sold. As Vendors we are delighted with the result and are also happy that Louise and Maria matched our beloved family home with the perfect buyer.

Louise was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is such a pleasant lady and understands that we, as the vendor, are also extremely busy. Her communication was just the right amount, very thorough and to the point, and we have absolutely no doubt that she followed up on all possible buyers. We loved the VIP night, we thought it was exactly what we needed to do to sell the house, and evidently, it worked. Her weekly reports were concise, thorough and answered all our questions on a weekly basis. She was also consistent in her follow up after open homes. We loved Louise, and will definitely use her again in the future.

Louise made the purchasing of our property a far more pleasant experience by being so responsive and courteous. As we went to auction it is hard to comment on negotiation skills but the speed in which questions were answered, friendly manner and her general follow up were great.
