Jason sold our property in Phillip, ACT. Everything went smoothly, from the initial meeting to set expectations, the listing process, open homes, regular updates/reports and communication (written and verbal), exchange of contracts, and finally settlement date. Although we initially scheduled an auction, the property was sold prior to auction for a price we were very happy with. At the outset, Jason was very good in explaining the process to us as first-time sellers, outlining all cost and options, and setting out expectations. He also asked the right questions to understand our priorities and expectations too, and was there to answer any questions that came up along the way. Overall, for what we expected to be a complex and stressful process, we could not expect a better outcome. As first-home buyers, we were excited about the process, but a few things didn’t go as expected. We didn’t receive the main door key at handover, despite multiple follow-ups, and had to use the sliding door to enter and exit the house for a couple of months before finally replacing the lock ourselves. We also hoped for a more special moment with the traditional “SOLD” sticker, but received a “YEWW” one instead, which felt a bit out of place for such a milestone. We appreciate the overall effort but feel these small details could have been handled better to make the experience more memorable.
