Having had an earlier bad experience, I was rather wary of estate agents. Ben Vance had two properties on the market that I looked at. The first was not suitable to my needs. The second seemed to meet my needs. There were many people looking at the property. I arranged to meet Ben later that day to discuss further with a view to making a firm offer. At our meeting I explained my earlier experience and said I was reluctant to act without my solicitor seeing the contract and giving her OK. Ben said we could put that in as a condition and he thought the vendor would probably agree. I also explained i was about to go interstate for a medical appointment and would therefore not be available to sign contracts. Ben reassured me we could keep in contact by phone and email and so that shouldn't be a problem. All he had promised took place, and he continued to keep in touch during the period between signing the contract and settlement. He took me through the property again for the pre - settlement inspection a few days prior to settlement. He said he was going on holidays prior to the settlement day but would leave keys at the office. When I picked up the keys I was also given a wonderful hamper to welcome me to the new house, which was a very kind gesture from Ben. Upon his return from holidays Ben contacted me again to ensure all was well with settling in. It was a very satisfactory and pleasant experience dealing with Ben Vance.

Where do we start ! Ben was amazing ,we had seen soooo many agents pre selling and was so confused re lots of things they where all telling us ! Ben was the LUCKY last person we saw , Ben firstly didn't try and buy us ! He didn't gloss us over ! He was very down to earth and very very approachable .we loved how he was so honest re when we was deciding on a sale price he knows his market very well and was able to guide us in the right direction in everything ,we choose to go to auction and he was was truly amazing on the day and got us an awesome price for the property we was selling ,would we recommend Ben most definitely 100% .We could not be happier and so so happy we went with Ben

Contacted Harcourt's prior to Xmas re the value of my property, found Colin very professional with his knowledge and the current market especially with my property. Early march decided to sell, contacted Harcourt's and spoke to Joel who I also found very professional. Colin made contact. With authorities signed the property was on the market, within in several days there was an offer on the table greater than I had expected. the property was sold on a 30 day settlement. Interestingly, we write this review of Ben, representing the sellers, from a buyers point of view. At all times we felt that while Ben clearly had the best interests of the seller at heart, we were given ample opportunity to put our best foot forward in order to obtain our property. Further, we could barely fault him over the 20 odd times we communicated during the bidding process. He is a courteous professional that deserves an excellent review from us.

I would happily recommend Colin to anybody. He gave great advice in getting our home ready for sale and we ended up selling the house for a price higher than we had originally expected as a result. What's more he sold it to a couple that will love and care for our house in less than two weeks. Super happy!!!
