Given that we had owned the home for 35 years we took our time to research the best agent for finally selling the home. There were some very well known big brands in this mix but the team at Place Estate Agents (Brenton Faehrmann - Bulimba and James Curtain - Woolloongabba ) were by far the stand out agents for our family. They shone in every sector of the process (Brief, preperation, open house feedback, communication, negotiation and of course the result) was definitely the best that I have every had in all my years of buying and selling property. A truely remarkable experience to work with Shannon and her team with the added complication of being overseas at the time. We are convinced we received the highest level of commitment that her high end clients receive. Everything flowed with trustworthy advice, meticulous planning and open communication within tight time frames. For example. Unusually, we had difficulties with the neigbour, tenant and the agent managing the property (who was offended that we had decided to use Shannon as the selling agent because of her reputation). As well as some unexpected maintenance issues. Her communication and negotiating skills with some difficult people and her ability to resolve multiple complicated issues quickly whilst keeping us informed meant the job got done. With a background of having engaged with a number of agents over the years, and personality managed small and large teams.
